Look at the end of the spring to determine the wind direction. If the end of the spring points in the clockwise direction it is a left wound spring. |

Measure the length, in inches, of ten or twenty coils of the spring to be replaced. Then compare that measurement to our chart to determine the correct wire size. If you do not have a spring to measure from, contact us with your door weight, height, and width information ready. |
