Current Openings Minnesota Plant:
General Purpose of Job:
Produces machined parts by setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available, anticipating needed stock and machine tooling; placing and expediting orders for stock and machine tooling, verifying receipt of stock and machine tooling.
Set-up mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero references points; setting tool register, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math Geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
Set-up mills and lathers by installing and adjusting three- and four jaw chucks, tools attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; including vices.
Perform bench work, including any necessary operations such as filing, de-burring, grinding, lapping, scraping and fitting.
Responsible for ordering correct tips, inserts and machine tooling.
Upload CNC programs properly and troubleshoot G-Code programming.
Operate and calibrate machines such as manual and CNC mills, lathes and surface grinders involving turning, facing, reaming, drilling, boring, and re-surfacing.
Use measuring equipment, adhere to quality control standards, and maintain high tolerances to meet specifications.
Maintain clean, operational machinery and work space, including organization of tooling and meeting preventative maintenance requirements for lubricating, fluid levels, and grease points.
- Notify Maintenance when a machine is not running properly.
- Adhere to and maintain compliance with established systems, policies and procedures.
- Comply with all safety and housekeeping expectations and 5s standards.
- Keep supervisor(s) informed of progress, issues, quality concerns and repair needed.
Identify, recommend and implement opportunities for continuous performance and process improvements.
- Contribute to a spirit of cooperation and teamwork within and between departments and shifts.

Skill, Competency, and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree in Manufacturing or Machinist or related trades certification preferred.
2 years experience in milling, lathes and CNC required. Haas experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of machine tooling for use in the finish on products.
Strong knowledge of power transmission components and principles, tooling, grinding, fabrication, ladder logic programming, PLC’s, and I/O interfacing and programming.
Current Openings Ohio Plant:
Our Piqua, Ohio plant is looking to hire the following positions:
- Machine Operators for 2nd shift (hours are 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm). Starting rate is $12.50/hr + $1.00/hr shift premium.
- 2 positions on 1st shift - 1 full-time and 1 part-time (pro-rated part-time benefits available). Hours for 1st shift: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm. Starting rate is $13.50/hr.
