We founded ISC on the premise that if a company put its people and customers first, the best products and service would naturally follow. This is exactly what happened. Today the ISC family operates on a firm tradition of bringing you quality springs and service solutions that are first in every class. Family owned for two generations, ISC continues to put people first.

Gerry founded Industrial Door Company, Inc., in 1974, beginning in the garage of his home. He grew the Company through hard work, and by providing excellent garage door service and products to customers in the Twin Cities area. In 1981 Gerry purchased "Twin City Spring", renamed it "Industrial Spring", and began the spring manufacturing division of the Company. With Gerry's guidance, and an expanding customer base, both Companies continued to grow. Gerry "semi-retired" in the year 2000, with his two children stepping forward. Jeremy Sizer, serving as G.M. of Industrial Door Company and Jodi (Sizer) Boldenow serving as G.M. of Industrial Spring Company. We are fortunate to be a Second Generation Company whose transition has been a successful one
Jodi (Sizer) Boldenow has worked off and on in the family business since childhood. However, in 1995 after finishing law school she made the decision to make a career out of the family business. "I realized I had an opportunity that many people didn't, and I'd be foolish if I did not give it a try. So I worked within the Company, in several different positions. I quickly found I was passionate and driven about the business. It is definately in my blood. It is challenging and exciting to plan out where we want to be as a Company in another 30 years! We have a great group of Employees, and many exciting plans. I am fortunate that our family works well together. It really has become a win-win situation."

Jeremy joined the family business full time in 1996 after completing a degree in Biology from St. Cloud State University. "I really did not think I would end up in the family business, so I chose a major that would have been my other career choice." How did he learn the business? Jeremy grew up in the business, working in the Warehouse, Sales and Purchasing departments. "Learning the Company from department to department gave me the experience and first hand knowledge I needed to run the Company." And our father was a good teacher in showing us the financial side of things. Growing up in the Company, it became a natural fit.

Karl Lundahl has been with Industrial Spring since the beginning. Karl has 20+ years experience in Spring Manufacturing and Design, Equipment Purchasing & Set Up, Process Flow, Quality Control, and Procuring Material. Karl is the go-to person when it comes to anything related to the Industrial Spring operation. Karl has been instrumental in every phase of growth within Industrial Spring. His working knowledge of the Spring Operation is second to none. Karl knows everything, and we mean everything, about the Plant. We thank Karl for his 20+ years of service!

Sara Marie knows how to take care of our customers. Sara started working in the Coning Deparatment in 1997. There, she learned hands-on details about springs, and cones too. Now Sara is part of the foundation of the office and inside sales. Sara knows all the ins and outs of Ordering, Shipping, and Product Information. She consistently gives customers outstanding service. You can hear the smile in her voice!

Mr. Steve Galloway has been with the Company 9 years, in various positions. Steve has installed and serviced garage doors, worked in construction and electrical fields, and most recently moved to Industrial Spring. He has a wealth of knowledge in both sides of our Company. Steve is one of those people who can see a project through. He has helped design buildings, new products, and equipment. We have many plans for growth, and Steve is one of the key people that helps get things done.

Ken is our Shipping Supervisor. Ken is in charge of shipping our Customer's orders, and helps us make sure all the bells and whistles get taken care of, special packaging requirements, tagging, color coding, routing, getting the most competitive freight shipments. When it comes to Shipping our materials, Ken is the person to help.

Jenny began working with us at Industrial since 1997. She took some time away from the Company....but she is back, and we are so glad she is! Jenny serves as our Controller, overseeing the accounting, office and computer operations of the Company. She does great work, with a "can-do" attitude and is often the go-to person. Especially when the computers are down!

Mr. Larry Carr joined our Company in 2001. Larry holds the highest Human Resources Certification of "SPHR". And Larry truly defines the word Professional. He is a graduate of Michigan University, and is a great cook. Larry does an outstanding job of giving our Company and Employees structure, definiton, consistency and fairness in the workplace.

Donna Luoma is like family. She has been with the Company for 20+ years. She has served as part of the backbone of the Company in many different capacities over the years, and we appreciate her service. Donna is the Accounts Payable and Payroll Manager. Donna does all Payables, Bank Reconciliation, and Payroll among many other things. Donna is one of those people who "does it all" and "does it all with a smile". When in doubt? Ask Donna.
